At Piano-Girl Studio, we focus on three key concepts in achieving our goals:
- Understanding
- Application
- Perception
Understanding is the process by which the learner is made aware of the reasons behind why he has to perform a certain task. Only when such reasons are known, can there be full appreciation on the learner's part of what the task will achieve for him.
Application is the step that follows understanding. When a learner has truly grasped every aspect of a concept, he can now put it into practice in the relevant scenario, producing the result he so desires.
Perception is vital in adding one's "personal touch" to music. This is what distinguishes music from objective subjects like science and maths. By shaping an individual outlook that is both unique yet justifiable, infinite room can be made for creativity to blossom and flourish.
